June 29, 2012 the teaching staff at Beginnings Child Care celebrated National Mud Day with the children in their care. Yes, that’s right, there is a National Mud Day! Salvation Army maintenance employee “Monkey Wrench” Mike, provided soil from his farm and child care director, Lisa Leonard brought in muck from her pond. Lisa encourages her staff to provide a wide variety of activities and unusual materials to support and expand the learning environment. With the unseasonably hot weather is was a perfect addition to the typical water play that the children enjoy on a regular basis.
Great news for Beginnings Child Care! We are a GOLD STAR program. That’s right: we earned the highest rating possible in our latest Salvation Army review. What does that mean for you and your child? High-quality care by well-trained professionals in a safe, nurturing environment. In other words, we’re doing the most good for the children under our care. Isn’t that what you want for your child? Blessings!
